Red Lion Temperature Controller – An Important Device To Maintain The Temperature Near Desired Set Point

The process of measuring or detecting the change of temperature in a limited area, in a system or within in an object is called temperature control. After the temperature is found to be abnormal for an on-going process, it is adjusted to the desired set point. A temperature controller is a device, typically installed in a system or specified space to sense or maintain temperature near the desired set point. The controller actually works by switching the heating or cooling devices on or off as and when required. Moreover, it regulates the flow of heat transfer. When talking about a home thermostat, it’s a perfect example of closed control loop. It can be used as a control unit in a cooling or heating system such as an air conditioner or a heater. It has a sensor that measure temperature.

Our consistent efforts and the technological advancement have contributed a lot towards enabling us to discover various types of temperature controllers, including on-off, proportional and PID. But, red lion temperature controller has no match in the market in terms of quality and functionality. It takes an input from a built-in sensor and sends an output to a connected control element such as a heater or fan. The most impressive feature of this controller is its sensor that measures and compares the actual temperature to the desired set point and sends an output to a control system. Before you buy a controller, consider the type of input sensor (thermocouple or RTD) and the type of output required (electromechanical relay, SSR or analog output).
